When I landed, I got into the get-away car (an ex-police car known as a V8 Interceptor), blew through the intersection, and cops were at the intersection within 35 seconds. They didn't even see the jump, they were there to direct traffic!

Read the text. I used to have an American friend who spent a lot of time in Thailand and Hong Kong. He used to regularly jump from the skyscrapers of Hong Kong without any legal concerns.

This is a two way of Phil Smith and Phil Mayfield. This was the jump that qualified them for BASE #1 and BASE #2. Carl Boenish filmed another point of view from a helicoptor. Smith used a square canopy and Mayfield used a round canopy.
