Pilot chute shoulder pouch Can't Post

Hello,

What do you think about the pilot chute shoulder pouch from Apex Base?
Is it worth getting for those sketchy antenna exit points?
For those of you who’ve used it, are there any tips and tricks when using it?

Thanks

Jer

From your research does this pilot chute folding technic increase the chances of an hesitation?

Thanks

I worked for Apex when this product was finalized/launched.

I would suggest that PC inflation would be similar to a stowed jump unless the PC was aired out/fluffed before jumping.

Okay, I’ll get one but won’t take it to the lower objects (the ones where I can’t afford any hesitation).
Also, I think I will try to S fold the pilot chute like a regular hand held and put it into the pouch instead of doing the stowed folding method.

Thanks

For anyone interested, I’ve received the pouch about 2 months ago and have done quite a few jumps with this system. It works really well with the magnet bridle and make the pc very accessible. It is loose enough for a 48” but tight enough that it doesn’t slip out even when bumping it on ladder bars, anti climbs and things like that. S folding the pc into it as opposed to doing the stowed folding technique works as well, however I always like to dump the pc and refolding it right before the jump. Overall very happy with this piece and will continue using it on A.’s.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've got one, as yet unused and intend to also refold it just before the jump.

The reason I got one is I was struggling to get over a bridge railing and into position without popping my magnet bridle which was then a pain to reposition.

Happy New Year!
