I'm going to Ainsa, Spain 31. July - 10. August on a mtb vacation, and I'm curious if there are any local jumpers in the area. Is it worth bringing a rig? There seems to be some nice cliffs in the area :)
You´ve got some nice SD jumps around. Jaca (Peña Rapita) is 1 hour driving from Aínsa. At the Ordesa Natural Park there are a lot of posibilities (mostly SD) although because it is a National Park jump is forbidden and summer is not really a good time to be messing around because a lot of people is doing trekking, climbing or just sightseeing
If you drive longer (around 2 hours) you can reach Ager and Montrebei zone. There you can find some beautiful SD jumps (Torre Roja, Voltor) and also you can find 2 SU subterminal tracking jumps (Mars Place and Pared de Aragon) Watch out for these SU jumps because landing depends on dam´s water level.
