not because i'm hurt. but because i got hurt for the FIRST TIME on what was probably one of the least technical objects i've ever jumped. object #101 btw. regardless i'm in the hospital and just sort of rambling so.... whatevs. anyway, some of what people say bears truth (of course)... but i still think it's possible to use gravity and parachutes and keep your bones intact. it's very hard at times to say no to every single thing that may add a slice of danger to your glory pie, but rest assured, if you give in to too many of them at once, your day will come. i must admit i may have given in to one too many variables that i would normally say no to. BUT, the reality is that there are a lot of variables and it's hard to say. that and i primarily enjoy BASE because of the most awesome people i travel and party with, the jumping is the bonus. i've been hanging with a lot of crews lately that have been hitting it hard, and i love them for it, but it's just not me. i love to fly and i love the ability to continue to do so. the parties that trail these awesome jumps and events (sorry to those of you who haven't been to an awesome event yet) are unarguably the highlights of my life. thanks Hank... Greece was a sick time among the rest of my sick travels!!! so to all my friends out there... hellz yeah! much love. it's been an amazing time so far and really awesome year! for everyone else out there, i simply suggest to remember what you're doing it all for and have fun doing it. otherwise, you're probably doing it wrong! then again, maybe i should use clamps? in anycase, see you bastards at the next fun event in west virginia! i'll be in a wheel chair! yay!
oh also, fwiw, i was not into the challege for Gary's crown, but i did effortlessly manage to make 42 jumps from that little building we warmed up on in Sibu with just two rigs. that included me sitting out for a lot of winds i didn'T agree with. not too shabby...

Yeah bro, time to become a true BASE snob. The Butt and I only jump the fanciest objects in the most perfect conditions so that we arrive at the party in 100% shape to just damage brain cells. Heal up bro, this will pass and just become a memory you gain insight from. Only your freakishly smokin' Wife loves you more than I do. "i primarily enjoy BASE because of the most awesome people i travel and party with, the jumping is the bonus. = awesome!!

But now you get to do the scariest, hardest, and most rewarding jump. The comeback jump after a major injury. Let the head games begin and the party continue. Glad to hear you will be "rolling" into WV. Let us know if we can help with your travels to BD. Cya

Man, your body position must have been HORRIBLE! From what I heard about your accident I'm pleasantly surprised you're no in the hospital's cold department. Heal up brother, heal up! Kerkko BASE1184

Damn bro, what's the damage list and how'd it happen? Should I be concerned that I pack like Chuck Peters now? At least you will have plenty of time to make entertaining posts on here. Heal fast

If Erin needs anything at BD, let me know. I'm sure there will be enough people fussing over your ass there. Love you too.

It was the clamps... or lack of them!! The NC crew is getting hit hard this year- John and his pelvis, Marc still in ICU and in a coma, me in for my arm, and now you. And Obama care didn't help any of us! Take care brother, and if you need something just call. I'll find someone else to help you out! I pray for fast healing. Dan
