Contact the Locals - 2007-06-13 by Earl Redfern

It is standard BASE etiquette to contact the locals when you are travelling, and looking to jump. The article below explains this rule. It was written by Earl Redfern, the first person to complete 1000 BASE jumps. Sadly, he was killed in an aircraft accident (with another jumper) while scouting new BASE sites.
