Last week, London saw BASE jumping and wingsuit fans from near and far descend upon London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) for a sell-out of the global premiere of XTreme Video’s latest release, WINGMEN. This intense and inspiring documentary follows three of the world’s most renowned BASE jumpers and proximity wingsuit pilots, Jokke Sommer, Espen Fadness and Ludovic Woerth.

The Global Premiere was introduced to the capacity audience by Jokke Sommer himself, which led into 52 minutes of adrenaline inducing entertainment as the audience watched this awe-inspiring film.

The evening was finished off with a Q&A with Jokke Sommer where he answered questions from press and the public on the film, as well as his professional career in the extreme sports industry. Directed and produced by Siesta Films and Ellioth & Winther Film, and featuring the exceptional in-flight camera work of Ludovic Woerth, this breathtaking documentary WINGMEN will now be available exclusively on Vimeo On Demand from 16th July, available for rent (£2.99 / $4.99 / 4.49 euros) or purchase (£7.99 / $11.99 / 10.49 euros).

Capturing defining moments throughout 2013 when Jokke Sommer (NOR), Espen Fadnes (NOR) and Ludovic Woerth (FR) travelled the world in search of the ultimate place for wingsuit flying, WINGMEN documents their friendship and lives on the edge, and includes spine tingling moments throughout the 52 minute film. With interviews from friends and family, and previously unseen footage and infamous scenes shot at Christ The Redeemer in Rio De Janeiro, The Tianmen Mountains in China, The Reunion Islands, Bangkok, Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, WINGMEN tells the story of how three friends set-out on a ground breaking journey to push the limits of their sport but only two survived. Friends and family join the athletes in speaking candidly about the dangers of the sport the athletes risk their lives for, and the emotional rewards that push them to travel the world seeking out unique and challenging places to pioneer wingsuit proximity flying and BASE jumping.
